Pilot programme

Run a pilot with your own engineers.

Six months, ten seats, the full programme. Your engineers work real-well problems; your discipline lead watches the judgement form; the author reviews the problems with the team at the end. Pricing on request.

§ 01 What a pilot includes

Everything a paying organisation gets, for ten engineers.

A pilot is not a demo. It is the full programme in your organisation's own space, with the admin view switched on from day one so the decision at the end rests on evidence rather than on impressions.

  • All 11 courses, 54 modules and 187 topics, with every interactive simulator
  • All 90 problems across the four tiers, including the two capstones
  • An organisation space with ten named seats, managed by your discipline lead
  • The admin console: problems solved, topics pulled in, per engineer, exportable as CSV
  • A problem-review session with the author at the end of the pilot
  • A written close-out: what each engineer worked, what they needed to learn, and what the team's pattern says

FormatSelf-pacedAlways available in the browser. No travel, no classroom week, no scheduling across a rota.
AccessOrg-scopedYour engineers see only your organisation's space. Every page is watermarked to the viewer.
EvidencePer problemProgress is recorded per problem completed and per topic visited, not per video watched.
ContentAuditedEvery topic page was read and recomputed by a petroleum-engineering reviewer. Read the statement.
§ 02 How the six months run

A pathway, not a pile of content.

We agree the pathway with your discipline lead before anyone logs in, so the problems your engineers work are the ones your wells pose.

Weeks 1 to 2

Set up and orient

Seats created, pathway agreed, admin view walked through with your lead. Each engineer completes one Tier 1 problem to learn the format.

Months 1 to 3

Tier 1 and Tier 2 problems

Engineers work the single-module and multi-module problems on the agreed pathway. The admin view shows which topics each person had to pull in.

Months 4 to 5

Tier 3 course-level problems

One well carried through a whole course: a full theme turned into a defended engineering decision.

Month 6

Review and close-out

The author reviews a selection of the team's problems with them. You receive the written close-out and the full export.

§ 03 After the pilot

Course packs, or the whole programme.

Access is licensed per seat, per year, by course pack. Tier 3 and Tier 4 problems unlock with the packs they span. Pricing on request.

Pack A

For graduate intakes and engineers moving into production technology.

  • Course 01 Well Productivity Fundamentals
  • Course 02 Primary Factors Impacting Productivity
  • Tier 1 and Tier 2 problems on these courses
  • Tier 3 well-delivery problem, VG-1

§ 04 Questions buyers ask

The practical details.

Do my engineers need accounts?
Yes. Each seat is a named account inside your organisation's space, created and managed by your discipline lead. Engineers sign in with a work email and password. Single sign-on is on the roadmap and is not part of a pilot.
What does the discipline lead actually see?
For each engineer: the problems started and completed, with dates, and the topics visited on the way to completing them. For the organisation: a status distribution across the team. All of it exports to CSV so it can be recorded against your own competency framework or in your learning-management system.
Is the content ours to keep?
No. Access is licensed. Every page is watermarked to the viewer and access is logged server-side. The problems use illustrative well data, not any operator's records, and the content cites public sources: SPE papers, API recommended practices and standard texts.
Can the pathway be built around our assets?
Yes, from the existing catalogue. Before the pilot starts we map the problems and courses to the productivity issues on your wells (sand, scale, skin, water, lift) and agree the order. Bespoke problems written on your own wells are a separate engagement.
Can the author facilitate the programme live?
A facilitated cohort format is available on request: a weekly problem review with the author over twelve weeks, on top of the self-paced platform, for up to sixteen engineers. Ask about it when you enquire.
How is technical accuracy assured?
Every topic page was read in full and recomputed by a petroleum-engineering reviewer in September 2026, and the findings were worked through. The method, the numbers and what remains open are published in the technical assurance statement.
Next step

Tell us about your team and your wells.

A short conversation with the discipline lead is enough to scope a pilot and agree the pathway. We will come back with a proposal, not a brochure.
